sorry shadow, but it is press fitted....they were claimed by WGP to not be, but its not true.....it is press fit and if remvoed cannot be put back togehter....

and vantrepes and i had a discussion on this and his concluision just backed my assumption of it not being able to be rebuilt

a;so shadow...have u received your parts yet? i never haeard anything from you?

and tdk, good job...and his findings are nearly true....most people have come to relaize and understand and accept what he has explained to us, he was just making a thread explaining it so we dont have to say the same things over and over when someone wants to buy a new ram.....

seems good to me...just try and get it stickyed.....

I did try, but the mods never obliged. I'm surprised someone found this thread after so long.

you just have to edit it a bit....

belsales/eclipse are more money but are rebuildable.....and very easily....

the ans does have a smaller stroke and is a bit faster, but i thought it needs a higher lpr setting then most other rams.....

the MPP ram might not be rebuildable, but it does have a lifetime warranty

also talk about the stock rams....

mp4 has built in trvs which might sound cool, but if a TRV goes, so does the ram....not the same with the older STO...

mention the smoothness of them all....i dont know about you, but i can tell just by pulling the ram in and out the smoothness of it.....

oh and about the people ragging on you for this, the way to take care of that is just put a disclaimer in about how this is just all opinion , not fact, gathered from the discussion and arguments you have witnessed and been in over the years.....

I'm going to make an "autococker upgrade thread" and will include those additions on the ram section.

Why are Dye rams bad?

I really don't know. Every DYE ram I've heard of was sticky, broke, slow, pathetic, etc.

I see.

When I had my mech cocker, I had the entire Dye front end, and I didn't have problems.

This is absolutely true. If the diameter of the ram is smaller it will require a higher pressure to give the same pushing force.
