Is Choctaw open around this time of year? Thinkin about playin there sometime soon, anyone going out there this weekend?

the last time I was at choctaw it was over grown and pretty sad. but they were about to work over a huge part of there field to put in a speedball course. have not been back since.

if you come for tournament-type play, there are usually (when it's warmer) about 30 people. since the extreme cold hit, people will still be out there but just not in large numbers. THIS IS WHAT MOST PEOPLE COME TO CHOCTAW TO PLAY
if you come for woods ball, your best bet is usually on saturday, allthough i have seen large groups play on sunday.
there is also a very large "fort field" with 2 two story forts and 40 gallon barrels for bunkers. this field is very fun, even if you don't have a bunch of people. right next to this field is another field with gigantic tires, stacked 3 tall; they can be used as an extension (and usually last ditch effort) of the fort field. a common game type played on the fort field is "north vs. south." all in good fun of course.

cruel is talking about coming out. My team, 40 east, will be there. I'm sure some of 187 will be there and then some others probably too

sorry for earlier post. I had the two choctaw field mixed. PCOC looked great. had a blast there last weekend. for my first time stepping onto a speedball course.. look forward to coming back..
