Time to step up?

Any word on when Global Guts is going to step up and go into Div. 1 where everybody knows they belong?

Just curious.

hehehe! sorry bro!

Global Pinoy is gonna defend the D2 Series title.
Well as you can see, we didn't qualify on the 3rd round of WCA '07.
We lost to Demonz Red and *****ing and got a draw from Anti Heroes on the
2nd round.
Just to show that even D2 teams can beat us

Just curious, did our team played against you in WCA 07?

Hey Mabibo!

That's right, we were scheduled for our 12th and last match of the day (12 matches in one day is a bit crazy, but whatever). When the last few matches were pushed to the next morning, the team decided to forfeit that last match rather than gear up for the next morning. Given our score and how well we had been playing, and the fact that we were tired, we felt that we wouldn't have been able to do well enough against you guys to make it into the semis anyway, so the team unanimously decided to throw in the towel.

I went over to the scorekeeper, and in Martin's presence I showed my I.D., announced my name and team, and clearly stated that we would forfeit the next morning's match. I was later told that you guys and the refs were waiting for us on the field, so I guess some wires got crossed somewhere. Sorry for making you wait.

Next time, you won't be so lucky!

It wouldn't have made much of a difference if you won or lost!

He! he! we are not yet on that level! But we will soon climb up! We are still enjoying the D2. D1 is too tough for us! Anyway, the average age of our players are still on the 20s (including Mabibo) still wait maybe 2 to 3 years from now.

3 legs is just pure luck! in fact there are tougher teams in the Philippines than us.

We aim to get the 4 legs but the D2 teams are getting stronger. Ausies are funny guys off the court. This shows that they just wanna have fun balling with us! Nice to play down under soon!

You know in most all "real" tournament series, if a team wins the Div in back to back years they tend to get moved up and not sand bag. "The better whom you play that better you will be"

Time will come bro! but even if you're at D1 we will be happy to play with you! We just feel that we are not yet ready for D1.

In winning any battle you should follow Sun Tzu's famous quote and philosophy:

"If you know the strength of you enemy, and your strength, you know the terrain and the climate...you have great chances of winning the battle."

At this point...we are still learning and honing our skills! Sorry bro! You're team is much much better than us!

Why not! Global Demonz or Demonz Gutz he! he! We love the Demonz, infact, we don't want to face them in any tourney.

Watch out! we might be joining the WORLD CUP in Orlando as one Team! It's in the process!

Have a Great Balling Year (2008) ahead of us!

Regards!
