Piss nuggets. New strings, new tubes, and I can't get my camera to work right so I can make videos. I have the Candlebox, "Far behind" solo down SOLID.

I don't see what the big deal is about floating trems and people that think it's hard to do. It takes me about 5 to 10 minutes to get new strings on one. A couple of minutes on tuning and that's it.

Floating trems aren't that bad I used one for 2 years, and I never had a problem with it regarding strings.

It was for the Thespian Society at the school I went to last year, there were about 30-something people there. No, I'm not a thespian.

I was over exaggerating

Just setting the inotation and bridge level takes at least 45-1 hour for me, but I rarely do it.

I set up my buddies 6 string with a LFR on it in about 8 minutes, I've never done it before, I just had knowledge of how they worked.

My hellraiser took about that long minus getting it intonated and drilling for the big *** strings.

I doubt it stays in perfect tune after that unless you have some amazing new fangled method of stretching strings.

If you were responding to me I was referring to the period of time (5 to 10 minutes) in which it would be hard to make a floating trem function like it should. I'm talking string stretching wise especially.

We're talking getting the trem set up, not locked and stretched.

If you do it right, you will have to fine tune it every...5-7 days, but never unlock it at the top to tune it.

Just whammy the hell out of it, stretch it with your fingers like any other guitar, leave it unlocked overnight is what I do.

That's when I play Satch, Vai, Dimebag and Slayer solos with it while the nut isn't locked.
