The milled Minion
came out so nice, I thought I'd try milling up my Evil Shocker too. I wanted to make it a true PbNation project so I got the anodizing
, and even the vinyl stickers
from members here.
Let me start by saying I started out with raw parts. This isn't a re-anodized gun. The body, gripframe, feed tube, reg and vert asa were raw straight from Smart Parts.
I always thought the Evil Shocker looked the best of the NXT's but it was way too wide, too heavy, the gripframe was too big and quite frankly it had Evil logos all over it. I wanted to fix all of those issues. I started by replacing the frame and having windows milled into the sides to get rid of the Evil logos. Then the front was milled down to get rid of the Evil logo there and and the "wings" on the side milled way down so you could still see the milling but it lost a lot of the weight. I also replaced the trigger frame with the lighter and smaller TonTon frame.
The only disappointment was that that I tried to do the same liquid polished bronze as the Minion but the anodizer (125 Customs)
couldn't quite get it done because of the aluminum SP uses on the NXT's, so I went with a Charcoal Black with Pewter parts.
I also finished it off with a carbon fiber barrel and some Kanji stickers from Paintballer187
that say "Vicious" or "Evil" and "Killing Machine" across the top.
