I think a lot of the guys from Boom are/were from that area. This reminds me, I should really hit Outdoor Adventures again this coming year. Haven't been there in a LONG time. I'm from Stevens Point, so I'm stuck travelling no matter where I play.

Last I heard, Jake was done with paintball. I could be wrong, or he may have changed his mind. Hey, we all take breaks once in a while. I've done it twice with paintball since 91.

OA being a rec field wouldn't be the worst thing in the world, really. There's plenty of places to play 150% all-out tournament style paintball, but fewer places I can comfortably take my kids for their first few times out... more specifically, my 11-year old daughter.

Geez, now I feel old. Again.

Hmm, I'd totally forgotten about them. Might be a good outing for the family, now that there's three of us on guns.

waupacca isnt that far from fremont/seymour/fox valley to be honest.
Id like to go out by Phil's again sometime. There just isnt anyone to play, but good for a brat fry and a nice easy day of drills or somethin.

The kiddies always liked goin out there. Tis a shame theres nobody else serious enough in the area to practice there anymore ;(

Paintball

MOlly's Paintball closed down this year. There is still going to be paintball in Stevens Point held on Dam Road every sunday woodsball mainly. HPA and Paint Available. Speedball Course will be set up in Bevent this year. Nice grass and cheap rates as usual. I am not sure of the field name yet. I am basically the silent partner behind that. Meaning I supplied the bunkers and compressor so my team can practice. It will be about 8 miles out of Mosinee and 15 miles from Wausau or Stevens Point.

PM me if interested in Scrimmages.

This sounds relatively close to the Big Eau Plaine flowage area.

(checks plat maps)

There's NOTHING over that way!!!

Funny thing is that I was out toward Tigerton for a car this weekend, and drove by the exit on 29 for Ringle. First commercial field I ever played was in Ringle - the old Splatterhouse 5 field. I forget the owner's name now, but he's been out of the game for a long time. Cool field, had what may have been one of the first speedball fields. It was a chain linked enclosure with hay bales, plastic drums, and tire stacks. You had to start the game with one hand on the fence. Good times, good memories.

Sorry, that was quite the tangent.
