Cool New Indoor Field

Hey Wisconsin players

My Father, my team, and me are goin to be starting atleast a outdoor field this year, and making a indoor field with turf and all that good stuff. We are figuring out financing now and total price. I am just posting this to see if we would get a good turn out at the field and if peopel would be intrested in playin at it.

The indoor field would have 1 regulation size X ball field with turf and all that good stuff.

The outdoor field would have 4 fields. 2 tournament styles, 1 recriational field for newer players, and 1 senrio field. So newer players wont get beat up. This is a longer shot. If it is outdoor it will probably be 1 or 2 fields max.

With the WI weather we are leaning more twords the indoor so we can play all year round.

We would be stationed in Lake Tomahawk WI right near Rhinelander WI

for those of you who know Zingers its about 30 minutes north dependin on how you drive.

So please leave some feedback on what you think of this and if you would play at our field.

This is a work in progress.

way to far for alot of paintballers in southern wisconsin...which is where a good bulk of the players are.

for me it would be like a 6-7 hour drive from kenosha. or Planet Extreme..so i probably wouldnt go

My suggestions
Air cooling/heat
more than 1 field (maybe just an extra small one for pple, the same field over and over can get boring for newbies/recs)
Bathrooms
lockers maybe
obvi something to fill tanks (either a compresser, or huge scuba tanks)

Sad to say, but i think the area where you are planning to have the field is a bad location though... Not too many ballers around there to my knowledge.

Having it in a bigger city like green bay would be better...

ya i relize that if we find land cheaper we might

and we will have air/heating

after our first year or untill we get a alrite comsumer base we are axspanding and puttin a new field
bathrooms fer sure
maybe lockers
yes we will have compressers
food area
place to buy gear guns
alse we will order items for you
we might be looking to semi sporsor a team my team will be there of course but if a team comes and is dedicated we might help them out
maybe dependin we might invest on good quality cameras to video tape anytime
and more....

i personaly think both indoor and outdoor together would do best because noobs like woods ball to start with and ther would be more recreationaly type ballers around by us but then we might draw some attention from people in wausa i no thers 2 teams or ther was and thers antigo marril and tomahawk so idk i think having both would be best that is if we can do that

Try to get ahold of some field owners and get their opinions! or check out the field owners threads, Im sure those would help a ton.

Personal Note- Too far from Milwaukee for me, but more paintball fields the merrier!

Wayyyyy to far north, I am from the northwest suburbs of chicago which is rather close to lake geneva so for me to go up to the southern wisconsin area (Planet Extreme) its pretty easy. Southern Wisconsin attracts all of wisconsin, some of chicagoland, and there are a lot more players in southern wisconsin.

Yeah man I got you, but I mean if there's anything we need more of it's indoor fields. I mean a indoor field is more versatile granted its more expensive to open, maintain, all of that it's worth it because of the extra few months of revenue. It's open all year long, rather than the outdoor fields that lose out on a good 4-5 months of revenue. Plus during the summer especially on those 90 degree days I would love to play indoor. Also indoor means less bee stings lol.
