ironmen barrels

Hey guys, is it true that the ironmen use 0.700 barrels so that they dont break any paint?

wut dood that is rediculous there is no way they would do that
and why does it have to be irnmn y can't it be xsv that shoots that barrel
i don't think that is logical i think it would just be easier to go through every ball and check the size with a .689 barrel then to shoot a barrell that big and have some massive amount of air come out of my front

I doubt it. The most likely use barrel to paint match so they get the best accuracy.

I've heard of most players using .692 to minimize dealing with paint breaking but I didn't even know Dye made .700 barrel backs.

JC from Impact shoots a .700 barrel, so they are made.

especially in xball, minimizing paint breaks is way more important than conserving air... i would never use anything under .692 so i could definately see it as a possibility. and just because dye doesn't market a barrel, doesn't mean it isnt made. everyone knows that the ironmen used to shoot porting-less barrels a while back. they weren't sold publicly but they were made.

Yes some of the ironmen shot .70's, but alot of them used .696's and .694's

i saw a boomstick that had that size of a back, ive never seen a ultralight thats had a .700 back. a .700 would be like a freak without a insert.

most of the guys shoot big barrels. some of them are as big as .700" most are .694" We all have several different barrel sizes, and it depends on how big the paint is. in the past the ultra evil was pretty big. We run over sized barrels in relation to the balls because it does help with paint breaks, it has a minimal effect on air, and no negative effect on accuracy.

theres no way there is a big enough market for them to justify a whole new production line of barrels. too many people are still convinced that they have to perfectly paint/barrel match their ****.
