Help me pick out a guitar for my nephew

I need help getting a electric guitar for someone who wants to play an instrument. This will be like his christmas gift now i just need help picking out a guitar for around $200

They used to have 99 dollar Behringer strat packs with everything you need. But pretty much anything you get will be fine. Let me tell you though, you're a damn cool person. Whatever you get, I am sure he will enjoy it.

That Behringer Strat imitation pack is a POS, if you have $200 to get him a guitar and amp, really try to pull together another $75 and get him a Squier Strat with amp and full set up. If it is $200 for just a guitar, I'd suggest an Ibanez RG series (starting at under $200).
