I doubt distortion even broke even after winning first, they were going through a ridiculous amount of paint. I played with U of M and we were first after prelims I believe but then the other guys didn't want to spend another hundred in paint to full out play semis so we played with either one pod or none and put our guns in semi. I thought we had a good chance to win but most of the other guys didn't have the money to try for it so it was kinda lame. It was definitely a fun tourney but I thought taking 8 teams to semis was a bad idea when the tourney is one day and starts at noon. There should have just been a top 4 final with each team playing a match against eachother best of 3 again, or a 6 team round and then finals.

It was a great tourney, alittle late. Yes the 11:30 was correct for the start of the last finals game, I would love to see it turned into a 2 day event that starts about the same time, so teams comming in from out of town can come in that morning and then only have 1 night in a hotel.
As far as the paint thing, its a ramping tourney your going to shoot lots of paint. But in the end its up to you how much paint you shoot, if you play hyper agressive and end the games in the first min your going to shoot alot less then a team that plays defensive and just sits in the back and rains hate. We (superior paintball) shot 20 cases, I believe distortion was at about 24 and I think we were the top 2 teams paint consumption wise, yes it was expensive, but thats just the price you gotta pay to play pb. It was a blast!

I heard something like 3-4 teams or so left early
because of money. I guess if you have big enough
pockets you couldve stuck around for the finals. lol
