Rosters are capped at 7. Remember, this is a ROOKIE TOURNEY.
NEW RULE** Rookie team may roster up to 2 intermediate players ONLY
this was changed due to the fact that there were many teams that wanted to enter but status wise the APPA database listing has a gap between rookie and intermediate players which proved to be a disparagement between APPA and NPPL.
So out of the 7 rostered, up to 2 can be intermediate and the rest true rookie.
Guaranteed 6 games for the day. Registration is at 7 AM, Captains' meeting is 7:30 AM. Play starts at 8 AM.
Prize/Raffle info:
Every toy brought with receipt will entitle the donator to one raffle ticket. All players in the tournament will automatically receive one raffle ticket. You can bring as many toys as you want!
We have some cool prizes to raffle off, including an Eclipse Cerberus gear back and a gun. More stuff is constantly being added. The ticket holder must be in attendance in order to receive prize.
We also have some great prizes shaping up for the finalists.
Aftermath/Results:
THANKS to everyone that came out today! It was a blast and it was awesome seeing everyone come out to support the kids and to have a good time.
Even though things got started a little later than we had planned, the games ran on schedule for the majority of the day. A total of 23 teams showed up to play.
We'd like to congratulate Full Clip Pants Party for coming in first. They tore it up with a hybrid pump/semi team. Second and third place were taken by Encore Yellow and Encore White. Way to go everyone, there were some great games played today.
In the spirit of the event, the sportsmanship prize went to Unshackled for being a great team of guys and gals. They each took home a PMI Pure Energy 68/4500.
We collected over $6500 worth of toys. A giant mountain of toys for kids in need, and a great day of paintball.
