my thoughts also...

but for people that want to spend their money in stages it might be a good thing...

IMO it will be worthless...

dont buy a vibe if you going to upgrade it... but i am sure people said the same thing about the ion acouple years ago and look at the aftermarket for the ion

Yes, but the selling point for these is the same as the VS1, a nice electro that allows CO2....Out here, when we play woodsball locally, most have their own CO2 refills but no compressed so once your tanks are emtpy you are done....Not now though, I bought one of these just to mess with when the compressed is all gone....heh

Same price as a blackheart board normally. But what you are missing, is that you can shoot CO2. There are many people in the US that do not shoot Compressed air or have access to it.

I don't see how that is a factor- I've been using CO2 w/ my Ion for over a year now with no problems- not even premature O-ring failure or leaks. I have a coiled remote, and have never had any probelms w/ freezing or velocity spikes either. On page 13 of the Ion manual, it says CO2 works w/ the Ion. I assume the Ion-XE has the same regulator and basic internal set-up, so CO2 on a remote or anti-siphon should work fine on it too... Is the new Vibe/SP-1 regulator that much better using CO2?

I have heard many things about the ion board "freezing" and the gun itself sputtering when firing more than a few shots using co2, so until I hear otherwise of the Vibe, yeah.

I use C02 on my ion for tuning purposes only. Firing it with co2 is not practical.

As for the vibe topic. I will deffinatley be grabing a blackheart board for my vibe when it comes out

SP,why dont you sell a"vibe" kit in which you enclose everything needed to run any EP marker on C02, it would be a hit with ion kids, the upgradability and looks of the ion with the c02 compatibility of the vibe

^Which would defeat the purpose of getting a Vibe at all.

Well, you just heard otherwise... I use my Ion in ramping mode all the time, no problems w/ CO2 @ 17 bps for long bursts. doesn't sputter, doesn't freeze IF you use a coiled remote.

Why is it impractical?

It wears things down much faster. (O-rings, small parts, etc.)

Impulse buyer

We all remember the Impulse, right!

Shoot it stock, w/ or w/out eyes, as your penny bank evolved.

My first '03 Ultimate Shocker didn't have eyes. I still have the board. Just had a Victory boarded Halo. The Refs thought it was ramping at Bunkerfest 2005.

Can the Vibe run co2 without the anti-syphon, cause in the video promo's on youtube with matty marshall he says the marker can run on HPA or CO2...will it ruin the vide if you just twist on a 20 oz CO2 tank and play some bush ball?

My gf, needs a new marker and i feel the vibe would be a good Electric marker for her to start with, its cheap and i hear some awsome reviews about it...but at the bush ball feild its just CO2 and air refills are 2 hours away haha. let me know thanks.
