Magna Feedneck

I'll start off by saying that if this thread has already been made, please send me a link and delete this thread. On to my question, how well is the Magna's feedneck positioning holding up to the rigors of tournament play? If there are any videos of a magna bieng pounded onto the ground from a jump into snake or something please link them into here. Thanks.

i think i heard before that they said the feedneck will flex a little, so that way if u do hit the ground hard, slide or do wat ever its not going to snap as easly.

My personal experiance:
Magna field test

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Ok after a day of play The Magna preformed flawlesly, as I posted above the field I went to (woods ball head and torso are the only elimination hits) lets you play in full auto.

I used millenium ramping for the first part of the day with the ROF set at 15 BPS on my Mini and I was a little conservative with my burst of fire. After lunch I changed to NXL full auto and upped my ROF to its capped 20 BPS.

WOW!! I was amazed and the oposing team was not ready for the hail storm of paint that I laid upon them, HA!! After that game everyone wanted to know what I was shooting.

When we got back to the games I kind of became the "main target" for the other team. I took so many hopper hits I lost count and none of those hits broke any paint inside of the Magna. The magna was hit on the lid, top , feed neck and both sides (not to mention all the bonus balls I recieved) as well as the diving into the grass being pushed through branches and smacked on trees.

I went through a case and 3/4 of paint in the 4 games we played all day I had cramed the Magna full on many reloads and it never jamed on me. Woods ball there is pretty slow paced but the fire fights are wicked.

Ok sorry for rambling on like that, I just wanted to let you know that not only is this a high tech loader but it can take a beating as well. I put it through the toughest test I could think of under tough conditions some hopper hits were as close as 15 feet away and field chrono is 300 FPS.

I had the Magna in RF mode, a speed setting of 6, spring tension on 1, cramed full o paint, stock magnet configuration and it rips 20 BPS with reballs or paint with no problem. I have video to prove this but I have to figure out how to upload and post it.

Now, I would like to see someone with the Rampage or Virtue board on uncapped full auto to see if we can get the Magna up past 34/35 BPS of what Simon says he has seen it do.

Two weeks later I went to go play speedball with the magna and all though I am not the superman diving type person I still went to the ground prety hard a few times making it to the snake and once again the Magna gave me no problems.

For 150 plus the cost of RF, I'm going to know exactly what I'm getting. Not gonna fall for another Pulse.

I play pretty hard and feel very comfortable with this loader on my gun. I have a shocktech feedneck on my mini and it fits the design of the shells PERFECTLY . it is very snug and really does not move. I play wherever and am pretty rough on my equipment. One of other guys I work with is pretty notorious for breaking loaders. In one day he broke 3 loaders in 5 games and he uses the same loader with no issues yet. We both been using them for while and just no issues. The feedneck is reinforced and thicker plastic towards the front to prevent any breaking. I was at nppl sd and I saw handful of non sponsored pro players using these loaders. Hopefully this helped, if you have any other questions lmk

Been pounding on the same proto type loader that I was originally given 4 months ago and its still works perfect. I have been to snakes, dove here and there. The loaders great and hasnt had any problems with the neck.

how was the weight distribution with mini/magna setup. im looking into a new hopper but not sure due to the mini being so small and if the hopper extends further back then the gun.

That back length is the thing my customers have complained about. They also sais it takes time to get used to the weight distribution. BUT, if Rusty says it's good it probably is.
