Talking Field review thread!

So I was thinking we should have a thread to review fields in Idaho. I'v play'ed at FTW and BK paintballs fields. Both out of lewsiton Idaho.

BK: I'v play'ed sevral tournys here. Great reffing good aditude always.
the bunkers on the fields arent great. and the ground could do with more care. Overall I'ed give it a 7.

FTW Just opened recently So there still making ajustments. So far of what I've seen there heading in the right Direction. good tournouts. I've heard rumors them getting a Airball field sometime next year. As for now they have a good recball field. great place to play. good family enviroment. Overall 8

yes, we have plans to re-open the field in '08. Lots of changes are in store and we're working out all of the details before making any official announcements. A part of those details will be addressing the hard ground and deflating bunkers that were mentioned earlier in this thread. Once everything is in order I'll post the '08 agenda.

The FTW field is located at the bottom of the Lewiston hill...the first left hand turn as you are headed up the hill, across the road from the landfill.

look here for the field info. usually we are open every sunday and hopefully saturdays in the spring. but lately we are open during days with decent weather(not too wet).

look at the website for field info. and forum usually helps too.

Love the shop, but as of last summer, the indoor field sucked. Nice bunkers...no lanes though. Has this changed yet? Rumor was they were getting a new speedball field outside.
The urban field was always fun with walk ons. almost always some there to play with.

Fun place. I used to get free air and passes untill I left for college. Good speedball field. The best woods ball field ever! I normally can't stand woods, but my friends and i had the time of our lives there. They have two 2-Story forts that are in clearings that are about 20 yards apart. This keeps the games still fast paced.
The only problem is people...you need to bring all of your own players. It's hard to find speedballers there.

Great Speedball! Good players from around the area of Rexburg, Shelly, and Idaho Falls.
only like $3 if I remeber right. It's not too hard to get people if you show up on Friday at 7 or so for IXP night.

They always are re-formatting the indoor field. Just drop by sometime and you can see for yourself. In my opinion it is more fun without lanes because we can actually gun fight. It's no fun when you shoot everyone on the break every game in my opinion but eh. And they will not just have one speedball field outside this spring, but they will have two! On all grass and fully netted.

The PASS - Love the staff and field, I'd definitely recommend, it'll be amazing this summer.

Splat - Field is nice and people are cool, I'd recommend if you are in that area.

Alright well Ill give my two cents here....

BK Paintball - Great field! However the ground has taken a beating and is now like a hard clay substance and the bunkers to have a tendency to deflate, Im still willing to drive 2 hours to play there. Ran great and fantastic prices!

FTW Paintball - Another good place to play. They just opened and still get a good turnout. Pricing is good and all in all its a great day of play everytime you go!

Stateline Paintball - Tucked away behind the owners house. Good place to play! Nice soft grass, level, its amazing. Pricing is freaking amazing! And there is always good competition. (field technically may be considered in Washington...oh well!)

There ya have it.

Great customer service, good prices. They are my Paintball Oasis while I'm at college.
Used to have a field, but "problems" arose. Maybe again someday.

We should have a poll here for favorite fields, allowing multiple votes.
