The event goes for about 7 days straight with the first 5 days being Mini scenarios that dont actually apply towards the D-day game. I remember last year there was a "Battle for Stalingrad" mini scenario, a civil war style one a night game and a bunch of others. If I remember right its two events a day with usually 500+ players and then saturday and sunday are the actual D-day event in which we had a little over 4000 players for 2007. They also usually run a speedball field for a couple hours each night.
As far as lodging there are some hotels in the area but I think the majority of people camp on site ($2 fee for the week if I remember right) which is what we have done the last couple of years.
As far as costs go, registration is something like $70-$75 and then the cheap paint is $65 a case and the premium paint is $75. Last year I played in three mini events and played speedball two nights then the actual D-day event and I only used 2.5 cases of paint. All together with paint food and gas I think I spent about $350 which really isnt that much for a whole week of paintball when it usually costs me $75-$100 a day if I go to Air assualt or something.
The vendors also have some pretty awesome stuff on hand to look at and buy. Its a great experience for anybody thinking about going.
