Not at all IMO.

I was all for it when it first came out. I was really looking forward to it. But after reading a LOT about it I have decided to keep my stock bolt and it's Boost Forward technology. The L7 is for sure much lighter then the stock bolt, this is true. This is mostly why people claim to have reduced kick when firing with the L7 bolt. That’s great and all, except the fact that I don’t find "kick" as being anything even remotely close to being a problem for the PMR. It is one of the smoothest shooting markers I’ve ever owned. IMO if you "think" the kick on your stock PMR is at fault for your poor field performance, you need to take a step back and ponder the possibility that you might just suck.

Other then that I only hear conflicting reports. Some people say they got a little better efficiency. Most other people claim that it made it worse for them. It appears to be a coin toss in most cases, which doesn’t bode well in my opinion.

There isn’t much else that this bolt promises to do which would make you want to ditch your stock bolt. It completely bypasses the boost forward deal, which could be a good or a bad thing, that is yet to be seen. All I know is that the Dye engineers spent a lot of time and money making sure they made the best bolt out there when they designed the stock piece. And I am 100% sure that they spend much more time and money on their design then Tech T did on theirs.
