DJ Equipment.

I know a lot of you play real instruments....but I was wondering if some DJ's/people out there know of a good PA set-up for my tables...I need a good brand...price is not really a factor...I know you gotta spend the big bucks to get the best...so if you could just point me in the direction of some good set-ups that are high quality...that would be awesome. Thanks.

I use all pioneer/technics equipment...but they don't make PA systems...as far as I can tell anyway.

Just looking for like 2-? speaker set-up...loud...crisp....and deep solid bass is a must...and again price doesn't matter.

Kthx.

I just dislike people wanting to be "DJs" when they're not DJs.

That is one of the most stupid things I have ever seen. That is like saying why do people want to be fire fighters when they are not fire fighters, ext.

What set up do you have?

A ****ty Stanton starter set is the best I could manage for the time being.
I spent all of my cash on other, less useful things.

Like giant slinkys.

I've got the DJ.Lab3 right now, I'm looking to upgrade to either their CD tables, or a set of Technics SL-DZ1200s, depending on how my car deal ends up working out.

* 2 - T.80 w/ slip mats and dust covers
* 2 - 500B carts mounted on headshells
* 1 - M.202
* 1 - DJ PRO 90

I didn't say they lasted long.
I got the metal one, and it twisted. =[

It was about a foot across, though.

Again, I've mostly played club-live stuff. So I don't have anything recorded. I just picked up Ableton Live in an effort to change that however.

live is nice, plus if you buy it now, you'll get a free upgrade to live 7. i've been using live 6 for about a year and three months now.

*i even got my roommates to switch to live, after they've been using reason 3 and an mpc2500 for a few years.

let me know if you have questions or want links to tutorials.

Yeah, I picked up Live 6 off of a friend (Who upgraded to 7b.) for like... $30. So I was pretty happy about it. I'm hoping to pick it up on my own, but I'll shoot you a message if I need any help, thanks!
