Question about Killer for anyone that plays there, has played there etc
1. is it worth me going to..i wanna play indoors(its WAY too cold to play outside)
2. what is this about it being slick
do they not clean their turf or something
on a scale of 1-10 what would you rate the field overall
Field Set-up
Appearance
Funn.ness
Etc
Thanks
Blake

its alright. refs are not the greatest(because they dont care and get paid with paint) it is very slippery. and who cares about getting your jersey stapled.

i'm there about every day reffing, and i play every weekend. Uhh,ya i care even though i get paid in paint. We do staple a game pass to you, it just has to be somewhere visable.
Field set-up: We have 2 fields, 1 recball and 1 speedball. Our recball is medium size, it has a nice layout with a castle like building. Its a very fun field and i enjoy it. The speedballl field is kinda small, the bunkers are not in the best shape and do not get cleaned as much as they should.
Appearence: Eh,its not the prettiest field, its hard to keep a field like that spotless, but what does apperence matter anyway?
Funn'ness: Its great if you wanna come out to just have fun. We do get our fiar share of noobs, but there are also quite a few experience players. So it makes for some fun games. We also do some scenario games and such on the rec-ball field, such as V.I.P and medic and such.
The field is fairly slick, yes. But not horrible, you just slide a bit farther . We do scrape most of the paintball off the field every night,i just did tonight. But its still pretty slippery because we do not have the time to do what it required to keep the field dry and not slippery every night, due to the size of the field. But its really no big deal. We're the only indoor field in the area, i say come out and give it a try.

It doesnt NEED to be visible.
If you dont think someone paid, look and see if they have a wristband or something else other fields use.

lee your always pickin on me, but i personly like that little peice of paper on the jersey its easier for refs. i hate wristbands if they are on perfect the little sticky stuff sticks to your skin and then pulls it.

field is alright its to slippy, field is to small bunkers are not held down enough, and its just not worth it unless u really need to play. 15 to get in plus air and paint its bring your own paint the crappy paint there is 37 a case. i would rather drive to grand rapids 2 hours to play at magnum on one of the best fields ive ever played

Yea the field is a little small what do u want them to do add on? Since it is the only indoor field within 150 miles give em a break sure there is room for improvement. But I would rather play there then no place at all. Unless you want to spend $60 in gas to go Grand Rapids. As far as being to slippery that is why you wear indoor turf soccer shoes. A good pair at any soccer store runs you about $40.

IMO the Killer indoor is ok if you have no other place to go......... its nowhere close to being as clean as when I use to ref there and it was owned by Futureball. We actually got paid in cash back then. But hey its some place to play ..... I could deal with the slippery field time to time but with Fb openning the reball field I don't have too.
