Icon not a bad gun

For the price all of those choices are terrible. I mean think about it an ION. ions are not bad and im not attempting to cut um up but com on pbnation and find a deal for a pmr, fusion or another "noob friendly gun".

Also i have personally shot an Icon and it was the worst thing ever. I'd rather shoot some kind of Victor

Im glad i could help u guys but i left out 1 very important thing about why his icon cost more than u would expect. He bought a value pack that came with a bunch of extra stuff like a mask (not sure which brand or model for any of these)
a pod pack, pods, and I think there may have been a N2 or CO2 tank. In other news of my friends icon he is getting a rocking trigger and a spyder 16in barrel put on. I think the gun must be by far the best out there for its price.

listen all good points to the Icon. But Icon is a very simple gun for the price and starter of paintball. I bought one for my 9yr for his first ever game. But he has pulled it apart and placed it back together to learn about how guns work on that level. from there he will upgrade for sure. you can't go wrong w/ an Icon start at base level. Of course they suck after you upgrade to Ions,Egos,Protos, and so on... And yes you want the gun to brake down after awhile so you know how to rebuild or have a better desire to upgrade. what better gun than an Icon for any starter.

My first paintball gun shot was from an Icon-Z (my summercamp uses em for PB) and they are decently consistent and accurate... But thats for their price still a

Icon X Best looking starter gun and it is my started gun and with sentimental value and all I upgraded the crap out of it.. even now with the grenade launcher.

Me and my friends had an icon x mine went down with in a week just leaked from everywhere and both trigger frame screws fell out then my friends went down before he even chrono'd mine didn't even make it to the feild

You could buy icon x's for 30 dollars in a package on ebay it is a good deal for a beginner even if it brakes
