Something xball style would be nice. The xball field you guys have is insanley nice. Another thing that would be cool is a schools league. Have high schools meet up at a field and have a c, jv and varsity team scrim. It would be a weekly league play. Of course it would require more than one field but most of the nw fields working together and doing it.

im guessing since your thing says something about WR hornets, that your from white river, well talk to your school and see how much work is involved in bringing a Paintball club/ group/ team/ organization into a school is... its tougher than hell, because schools see it as a promotion to violence, but keep trying

Agreed. Combine your efforts with existing series please.
Players are already spread too thin.

They could always do some form of Xball lite. I remember I played a tourney at Paradise once and they basically did it where you would play two back to back games, with a 2 minute break to refill and all that between games. It was actually really cool. Something like that would be sweet. Oh and the Paradise thing was 3man I think.

It sounds like most everyone so far wants some type of x-ball. That makes it easy being we just bought a x-ball field. Would you want it 3-man, 4-man, or 5-man?

i think a full xball trny would be best (2day maybe?) paint wouldnt be that expensive is u have larger rosters, we paid $75 canadian last yr for a series in canada, and not only has it a hit with all the local teams it wasnt that expensive. about 200 a weekend with 2 games, and only 10 guys a squad.

5man xball lite is probably the most practical for this area, best 2 of three. Basically PSP 5man.

If there was a set schedule and people wanted to play then they could save money for the event. If there is a big enough team the paint bill isn't that bad.
Last Xball tourny my team shot 20 cases of paint for one day. it was only about 100 bucks a person. The full 5 man Xball would be awesome.

X-ball tounament series would be a great one to have. There is already a 7 man tourney series in Battleground paintball WA. Possibly have a rookie and open division playing for an overall cashout. just some ideas.

Thank you to all for the input. I will taking all of these ideas to a meeting tonight and talking about getting something set up. Keep the ideas coming, and keep watching for a new series.

The only thing is most of the younger and less funded teams can't afford to do any of the things you guys are talking about. Players can barely afford to do the small 3-man tournaments that promoters put on. The problem with team attendance is not completely the organizors faults. The players this last season for some reason felt practicing and talking trash on pbnation was adequate to becoming a successful paintball team. If paintball in the northwest is gonna grow, it is going to require the players to step up to the plate and actually compete. There is a few dedicated teams still left that make all of the events, speak with their actions (skip the trash talking), and play there hearts out; props to them. A larger series would be awesome, but I suggest first playing the tournaments that are happening first. It's great that the local promoters like KC are still even putting on some of these events.
