vibe good for woodsball?

Hi, im looking to get a new gun for woodsball. Im kinda deciding between a vibe and an A5. I like the vibe because its low pressure and cause it would be more accurate than a blowback. Would the vibe make a good woodsball gun?

It necessarily isn't more accurate, but I can almost gaurentee it is more consistant, thus a higher grade of accuracy. It would make a fine woodsball gun if you take care of it well. I would suggest using air, but co2 should work fine (Not sure if it needs to be antisiphon, but I think not)

Yeah, its needs to be anti siphoned. but with this new regulator that they put on it, it sounds like it was almost designed for co2. I want to stick with co2 for a while since i cant afford HPA. Does this sound like a good setup for woodsball:

Smart Parts Vibe
14in. All-American Barrel
VL Eye-Force Hopper (or the Evlution 3, not sure, their both the same price)
20oz. Anti-Siphon CO2

Sure, the vibe would work well in the woods. If you like the mil-sim look of the A5, the SP-1 is basically a Vibe with a mil-sim body.

Yes, Either the Vibe or the SP1 will make a great woodsball gun. That is all i play is woodsball. I do reccomend an anti-siphon for better consistency, otherwise straight CO2 will be fine.

And Impgod.. The Vibe is more accurate than a Tippmann. Since you say that the Vibe or SP1 is more consistent therefore a "higher grade" of accuracy.. therefore.. it is more accurate than a Tippmann.

And yes, The vibe is pretty darn consistent.

Once again, that is just talking if the paint bore match is absolutely perfect. It will never be. I was just talking in general. Any marker can be as accurate as another.

This is where you and I will disagree. After building a $1000 sypder, it still did not hold a candle as far as accuracy was concerned to my cocker back in the day. And the sypder ran at 200psi with an AKA tornado valve. The only thing that was stock was the body.

Then you had something set up wrong. Again, that is your personal experience. That is fine by me, but if it was set up better, you could at least gotten very near the same accuracy.

Once again... you and I will disagree and I am still going to TP your house

I am certified on almost every gun on the market from 1995 to 2004. I have built hundreds of custom cockers. I have worked on thousands of guns. So... I doubt I had it set up wrong. lol.. I was teching guns well before I was in sales here. Flaming bag of poop will be on your door step tonight. I really enjoy our little banter that we have...

Well that's what I'm here for.

I don't really care if you've teched hundreds of guns. You can still set up something wrong. Being a tech isn't a one way ticket on the "I'm always right" train.

It is for me.

But, I do understand where you are coming from. There are also only a handful of really really good techs out there.

We agreed on something? No. Never!

I know techs who say they are all that but can't tell me something about any marker other than the one they always talk about. It's crazy. I wish techs knew half of what they say they knew. Sometimes they just make stuff up to get someone annoying out of the way. (Or so I've been told ) But I take it you are pretty experienced. And anyone from KAPP is a good friend of mine.

I wonder who will make the first Vibe part? Probably SP then Virtue, just for kicks. I really want to see how fast this thing can go. But then again, it's not all speed. It is a marker for beginners who want a nice EP. But on the other hand, what fun is it to have a stock marker? I want 25 bps out of every gun I own. At least.

For practice and just messing around, I use my halo b. It has the speed wheel and v35 board(which my friend is currently using...), but if I'm going for speed I'll use a Pulse. It usually keeps up better. Sometimes I had the chance to use a Vlo, but I prefer the other two.
