To the barrels below the waist proposal, it was changed at first in the NXL. Then just went down the ladder. The main reason is because when players started with their barrels touching the net point up and pulled over their head, they started ramping before their lane was set. Doing this shot huge amount of paint over the nets hiting cars and people. Pulling from below the waist prevents this.

The only way to get the below the waist rule dismissed is to add netting partially across the top of the field like the nxl does, or like Nice Paitnballer said you have people getting their guns to ramp before they are actually pointed at anything worth shooting at and random people get hit.

okay getting rid of the GC would be nice, but think of all the items that some of these companies produce. Would you really want a Shocktech ION body kit? When you don't own an ION? How about a Tippman Flatline barrel? Better yet how about if you took 3rd every event and one of the prizes was the Greg Hastings TP Game for the PS2, **** you would have a buttload of the same game, and you better hope you have a PS2. The reason the gift cards are implemented are to serve the masses, yeah they are harder to get rid of but it always helps to have back up parts/barrels for you team. If you wanted more of a payout for winning, those sponsors would have to leave and the entry cost would be higher. Now if everyone and their mother shot the same gun across the board maybe the GC wouldn't seem so bad....Try telling your parents/wife/husband/whoever you need a SL74 because thats what the "League" requires you shoot..just my 2 pennys

I think there should be a small pipe or rope attached to the start station about 2.5-3 ft off the ground. Barrels have to be below that.

that'd be cool but I just think as long as the barrel is pointed in a downward position it'd be straight because the pipe would be good for some players but not for players that are giants.

I think every player should be made to sign a contract from the CFOA that states that they cannot start or post in a thread on any forum about how the "refs" were crappy and cost them a tournament. Mandatory 1 event suspensions for the 1st violation and 3 event suspensions for the 2nd violation. The 3rd violation would result in a lifetime ban from CFOA sanctioned events. This would put an end to all the BS that you see on here right after a tournament.

You're so silly Charles...The reason they put they layouts not more than a week out is to not give advantage to any team with their own field. It would be a huge advantage for a team to get the field layout on a Friday, set it up and practice on it that weekend over a team whom doesn't have a field and practices at a local one. The only way this would work is if the CFOA released event layouts one month ahead. Or said, we will for sure use the (LA, Chicago, MAO, Cup) layout for this event.

DTM did that at DSO, why not give everyone a equal advantage by posting it in advance, most fields would let you change the setup

This is somewhat credited to the CFOA using the same venue 2 weekends apart from each other. The only reason that happened and i came almost place a hefty bet that will never happen again.

You need to go to English class more often. I can honestly say that is the longest sentence i've ever read.
