How about when listing they bst items, they have to put their location so someone can try to find local deals. Some people might/don't like to buy from other uses and they might feel more comfortable with local deals.

I know this will take time and alot of work, but I think it might work. A new part in the bst section for local deals and the user types in their city, state, and/or zip code and distance then it will filter out the deals in the local area.

Won't be a new posting but more of a local bst search. So the seller won't have to make two new threads.

I know the west forum has an "official" thread where you are allowed to post links only to your BST thread. I'm not sure about the east but it would be worth asking a moderator of that forum if you don't already have one.

True but it would be alot of work for someone to look through pages to see what kind of local deals. Plus people randomly post in those kinds of post and the user would then have to look through all that stuff too.

I'm sure that code can't be too hard to find, I would try and find it but I wouldn't even know where to begin.

Some regional forums have this in the form of "trade threads". You might want to ask (amhildreth, HyperPB234, kai83, or Pump Scout) about setting one up for the NorthEast forum.

I know but the thing is that not everyone who post something in the bst puts it up on those forum. This way, when something is posted up in the bst section, it could be searched by location and no needed to be posted again up in the regional forum. Plus a user might not want to search though 10+ pages to look for something.
