Blowback or Blowby w/ new poppet
never had an issue with blowback/blowby before with this marker... I have the new poppet, I've read mostly all stickies, but still can't find a way to stop this current issue. Mini has never had blowback before today, cleaned and lubed with Lurker last week and went to tune today, did two ball test and the other shot up like 10 feet!
Should I just try taking it apart again, relubing the crap out of it?
I've always kept the little hole clean on poppet, but how do you know if it's completely clean? use a compressor? alcohol?
Nothing else is new... just got blowback out of nowhere, is it probably the little hole on poppet?
Thanks for responses in advance...

It's probably the little hole. Change your battery as well.

Should I just try taking it apart again, relubing the crap out of it? Replace all your O-rings.I've always kept the little hole clean on poppet, but how do you know if it's completely clean? Blow on the hole on the bottom of the poppit. use a compressor? alcohol? NO!! Dont use alcohol.

I would think so. I can do testing if you would like. Just pm me, because I have to get off now.

Okay... so I took mini apart again, made sure the tiny hole on poppet was clear by blasting it with compressed air, relubed bolt/guide/oring on back of poppet with lurker, reset board to factory settings to start again...did the bolt oring test on bolt guide also, seems like it fits great, no slippage.
initially, massive blowback still. 2nd ball flying 15-20ft up. tried playing around w/ dwell also, tried lowering input pressure into asa to just below the tick under 200. (doesn't seem super accurate) pretty much tried everything in my mini knowledge arsenal but nothing has changed. Still massive blowback.
I don't think it's the poppet, even though I'm getting a new one shipped to me.
So i'm following everything starting from where the air begins, at the asa then moving up the grip to resetting the solenoid, to checking the poppet (which has worked fine for the life of my mini), to checking all orings, to relubing, new battery...
this has been the only issue with my mini, besides getting the stock feedneck off (red loctited)
NO CHANGE... still massive blowback... it just blows my mind... think i'm going to get an etek. nododgy

do the oring test. take your bolt and bolt guide out and hold them both by the bolt and if the bolt guide doesnt fall out then your orings are good

Also, try putting your pressure up a bit, and maybe back to 200.

Hmmm..... When you get your new poppit and if it still blowsback I would just send it to KEE. Wait a second.. Are you using the stock bolt?

I did the o-ring test, all is well.
I've tried messing with the asa, turning up pressure to 200 top to just below the tic under 200.
Tried messing with the dwell also, moving it up and down a couple ms. no change
I'm not using the stock bolt, RI, but have used it a few times already and haven't had any blowback problems with mini until now.
maybe i should try moving back to the stocker? My RI has worked fine this far, why now?
my poppet is already a new one, but maybe there's something in the little hole that won't come out even with air pressure. not sure, but ubber frustrating when can't find the freakin problem

check the fit of the bolt o-rings to the inside of the body, most likely the bolt o-ring grooves on your aftermarket bolt are undersized, and fit barely OK when the bolt was new, but then the o-rings wore a little and are now allowing air to pass over them
check the fit first, then try replacing the o-rings on the bolt, and also put the stock bolt back in to compare if there is any blow-by

Switch back to your stock bolt and see if you still get blowback.

So I figured it out... so it was the check valve, gone, it must have slipped out sometime and I never noticed... and yes, I usually know to make sure it's there b4 assembly.
WTF really just breaking down the marker and checking every part

THX to all and sorry for wasting time
