You got that right. The more time you are around, the better chance you have of getting noticed.

It all depends on talent level. I will MAKE teams for the right players, don't worry.

Playing on TPA has been the single most important thing in my paintball career. The impact that TPA has had on me is undeniable. At the beginning of the year I was not even good enough to be on the team, but I stuck it out, worked hard, and practiced my *** off with the team. Mike and everyone on the team have been by my side helping me every step of the way, and they have formed me into the player that I am today. If it werent for Mike and TPA I would probably still be a noobie playing at Pbworld haha

So all you guys out there saying your not good enough for the team or dont think you will make it, your wrong. If you have the desire and the will, you can do anything. Dont miss the oppurtunity to be apart of THE best team in ohio. If you want to be a better paintball player, this is your chance!!

No kidding adam...i remember pretty much destroying you at pbworld last winter...and now your a really solid baller...you went from a average local player to a very solid player in such a short time, its hard to believe you have only been playing a year and some change and already have gotten to the level you have because of your hard work and playing with TPA. We have had a good last few months of practicing TPA (when we could make it out that is), and I know I got better practicing with the whole team, thats why this tryout is such a great opportunity for anyone. Mike has done a wonderful job with everything he has done with TPA the field and team.

Thank you both.

People continue to ask me how many practices, how much paint, etc will they need to figure on this season. I keep telling them it depends on how good you want to become. Adam & Charlie have come to the field every Sat and Sun this season, sat drills & sun play with the team. They progressed by LEAPS and BOUNDS. Players that do this continue move up the food chain WAY faster.

It's all up to you as a player how good you want become and how fast you want to do it.

Wow looks like there is going to be a huge turnout! Lets bring back the TPA Militia! It would be awesome to go to an event and have 20+ TPA players on the net yelling, haha.

Mike,

How did your D3 series compare to the type of competition on a National level, say for a d4/d3 team? Also by playing a few of your events this season will that help me be noticed even a little bit (tall goofy kid, green raven jersey, redemption. haha) anyways I can't wait for the tryouts. I'm really excited, I have the heart to do it I just hope I have the skill.

MOST TEAMS that played D3 Novice at TPA this year are not ready for D3national events yet sorry. However we can build teams out of the best players and perpair them for the jump.

Keep in mind also we're fairly close with PunishersPB.com in the Open class and like all teams they're always on the look-out for upcoming talent... If you're looking to work your way up the tournament ladder, this is the place to do it.
Larry you are right!!! Last time we had this same farm system in place we did this:

3rd - PSP Season Standing D3 5 Man, 2005
1st - PSP Orlando Open D3 5 Man, 2005
1st - NPPL International Amateur Open (IAO) D3 7 Man, 2005
2nd - PSP World Cup D2 5 Man, 2005
4th - PSP So Cal Open D3 5 Man, 2005
8th - PSP Chicago Open D3 5 Man, 2005
10th - PSP World Cup D2 5 Man (TPA D2), 2005
15th - PSP NE Open D3 5 Man, 2005
1st - Ohio Capitan’s Council (OCC) Open Class, Aug 7th, 2005
1st - Ohio Capitan’s Council (OCC) Open Class, May 22, 2005
1st - Crazy Dave’s Novice 5 Man, Jan 9th, 2005
2nd - Ohio Capitan’s Council (OCC) Open Class (TPA Red), Aug 7th, 2005

With the talent level growing in the area I know we can do even better in 2008!!!

The only reason the TPA farm system stopped was because I started playing for PunisherPB.com and I could not commit my time to the team anymore. In 2008 I will once again commit myself to the system. Let's get the farm system back in place!!!

AS long as the talent level is there. As of right now things look very good. We really only need 10 talented players to do it, but I would like to have 15 to pull from.

Exactly, teams that play D3/Novice are not ready for national tournaments, even at the D4 5man level...
