Arrow tattooed BOLT

Hi, today i played with a lot of friend, everything is just perfect on my gun, just a little bit of slice but i think is the cheap paint.

Problem: When i was lubing the bolt and orings i noticed that the bolt have a tatoo!!!! a mark made by the spring, in one side there is a little mark of the spring. The mark is a bit deep, like if the metal was pushed, it is really small like 0.5cm and it follows the spring form, i dont know how to explain you (my first language is not english).

The spring moves with no problem, and the bolt's mark do not stop the spring's mark.

What is the reason for that mark in my bolt? Today i played with 20bps and i shooted a lot! like 2500 rounds! i think maybe my gun was a little bit slow, but nothing bad.

What shoul i do? buy a new bolt? why one has no problems with the orings and will improve the gun's performance with NO PROBLEMS OR COMPATIBILITY ISSUES??

Help and comments will be very appreciated

yep, don't worry it is not anything that is going to affect performance. i think all of our bolts probably have scratches just like yours.

Exclamation Thanks for your answer, but...

Hi, there is no scratches like the ones ON the loader, those are lightly scratches.

The bolt have a deep mark, like when you put your nail INTO soap and push, deel like that.

Loader scratches? I am not quite sure what you mean on that. Do you have a way to post pictures of your bol? I am assuming it is just one one side and it looks pretty scratched up.

Exclamation Pictures tomorrow

I can post good pictures tomorrow with my girlfriend's camera, but the best example is the one with the soap.

Put your nail into a soap and push, the bolt have a deep mark like that, like a scratch in a car made by a key, do you get it? when people scratch a car, door, hood, trunk with a key. deep like that.

Hm, didn't know you could screw in your detents to far, I screwed mine in until the cap stopped moving, but didn't put alot of force on it.

Sounds good to me, but i would remove bolt assembly, look thru the bore to make sure it has no nicks.

How about your Orings, no cuts or ripps?

Not Like That

Hi guys, thanks a lot for your help, but my bolt have a deep scratch!!! that is not like the ones in the pictures you posted.

It is almost as deep as the diameter of an ORING, it is a really deep scar, it is not a mark like the ones in the pictures before.

The scracth is like 1 cm long and it follows the same form thant the spring. I will try to make some pics to post. Be Aware of them.

It is completely normal to get these marks, and they do not effect the gun at all. If you feel like they are a nuisance, then invest in a delrin after market bolt (RI, NDZ, Orange, Tech T when it's released, I'd wait for this one, etc). The after market delrin bolt won't get scratched by the spring.

ok, i have to wait at least 1 day to get the pictures, because i really want you to see them. In your pictures there is no deepness in the scratches.

I am not sure, i think my gun is a little bit slowly, but i dont know if there is because of my velocity JR * Gangstar Chip, (speed 9). or Maybe there ir a friction. I dont know, i want to post really nice pictures, so everyone can see the bolt and suggest.
