I think it is 4. Not too sure though.
Someone posted a link up to their roster, take a look on that and it will probably say!

Hi guys
Had our first game today against Palm Beach Vipers and we sucked!
I don't really know how else to describe the performance.
We lost 10-5 ( I think ), I am still trying to forget about the game.
We definitely had a wake up call.
Next game is on Friday but I don't recall who we play.
It's hot and humid but the new guns and gear are awesome!!!!!
Jeff

ya. However Nexus have to work hard, as the Vipers tend to be a team that like to not work properly (ie a lot of inside team crap)

Just played Static.
Lost early points again which sucks! Pulled it back to 7-6 then lost a 2on1.
Final score 10-6 to Static.
Unless we wake up in the first few points of the st half we will never beat these teams.
Disappointed but playing better and need to win the next 2 to stand a chance....I think... I am a bit useless at all this.
Today we played our CPL squad only with the addition of Clint Moore from Manchester Shockwave.
Will try an update the best I can but internet access on site is a little unreliable.
Thanks again for the support.
Jeff

well...
We lost to Gridlock and we lost our last game today.
I have to say that the level out here is high and we were just not good enough.
A lot of lessons learned which is good.
Just want to say thanks to the people that helped us out over the week. Pit crew, coaches, the DYE crew and all the PSP staff.
It sucks to lose all 4 but we have had a good time.

Nexus will get better, but it is hard when the UK teams are "isolated" from the states and even europe

As you said Jeff, the level out there is high.
It is hard against American teams, they just play a lot more and have a lot more facilities and stuff.
I'm sure it was a good experience for you guys though.

Should have let that guy Ed play. It also would have given him a break from teching.

I saw yall playing Gridlock and you guys did play nice.
Dont yall play in Millenium?
O well, just keep it up, and the UK will catch up in field and facilities im sure. The times Ive been over there I was a little younger and didnt even really know paintbal existed, only played for a little over a year now, so I never even loked around to see about fields or anything.
And with yalls Dye sponsorship now I bet you guys will take a little time to get used to the new gear and then let every one have it.
:nododgy: or anything. If I could play for one team in the world I really would pick Nexus. I love London and the UK and plan to move there for atleast a few years for a little change after college and all. And next year I want to do a semester abroad in London or maybe Dublin.
Gota rep the Manchester Reds!
Sorry to stray though. You guys wil get back to the asskicking Nexus in no time.

Thanks for the kind words mate.
Half the squad was our CPL team and we also had alot of guests with us to help us out.
As you say... we did play some good ball but it just wasn't good enough. The teams we played adapted quicker and moved a lot more than we did. It really showed us the difference in X-Ball and the CPL format in Europe.
In the CPL you cannot afford to run about and try some crazy stuff as it is first to 5 points and is not played out to a time or in halves.
This makes each point so important.
We tried to play our control game but when we got the measure of a tape or player then you would find another one breathing down your neck on the other tape or through the middle.
Have to respect the teams that we played. Vipers, Static, Gridlock and Damage. Had no problems with any of the players and it was a pleasure to play them.
Jeff
