Semi tournament....
Well.... the Olde Lions East played in a Tournament yesterday... a semi tournament. 12 teams total.
We show up and some laughed at us for using pumps. They had Ion's with Evolution hoppers as loaner guns for those who wanted to use them.... a lot did. They had full ramping set. There was a number of teams that were not real good but there were I would say 4 really good teams. A couple of them had tournie players on them who knew how to play.... boy could they sling paint! Well going into the semi finals we were in 1st place... taking every game we played. The last game, #6, we lost so it dropped us into 2nd (only 15 points down). Going into the finals we draw for the teams we will play first. The 2 winners then play for 1st and 2nd and the losers play for 3rd and 4th. We get the stacked team (running ramping Ego's) and are first to play. We change up our game and just want to make to the first bunker and wait on the tournament guy to come and play our game. Well the horn sounds and we all make it to our bunkers... They get to there bunkers ad freeze. I mean they don't move up at all. Before they would, at least the one guy, move to the middle 50 then hop over to whatever side was clear and start hosing people. Well I guess we scared them a little... so no moving... which is what we had planed on and was waiting. We did not want to get into a shooting match with them... that's a had game to win. But indeed that is what happened. I hit the guy at the back middle, tournament guy, 2 or 3 times and the ref checked him but none broke. Then he hit the side of my hopper... but not even a quarter size but the ref calls me out. So now it is 3 on 2. Billy and Chase hold there own... finally shot one out then the other and then Billy gets gogged but right before that Chase gogges there last player we win.... well that made our day... win 1st or not. Get to the second game and win that. We won 1st over all. We all get new Max'd Ion's..... asked what we will do with them I say put a pump kit on them... all laugh.
All in all a great day. We played our game and did well. We had a lot of interest in pumps and many who want more info.

WOW...that means a lot coming from you Rossco! You taught Billy well. 
It is a great felling when it all comes together and everyone does there job.... keeps there cool and wins those hard games.
Bounces do stink.... but it's all good.

Very nice! A local team in San Diego did the same thing at Velocity Paintball's Velocity Summer Series. In the first out of four tournament days, they made it to the finals. It was 5-man NPPL rules. They were the only all pump team. They were called....
