Cool How to build finger muscle memory for trigger walking?

What are a few good ways to build finger muscle memory for walking the trigger?
I've heard of some pencil trick? something with rubber-bands? But nobody ever goes into detail about it they just say "use a pencil" or "try a rubber band" which doesn't help at all. If someone could explain or link a video or something helpful that would be great.

Tap a pencil, just like your walking the trigger. It's pretty self explanatory...

Rubber band trick is wrap a rubber band around your fingers to cause resistance, which will build muscle.

Just have your gun in your hand while watching tv and work on it. Go slow at first and get a good rhythm going and the keep speeding it up as you keep going. Once you are getting good try to keep the fast pace for 20 seconds.

I have a link in my signature (articles) that will explain it better.
Pretty much what everyone else has said is excellent. Hold a pencil in one hand and tap on it, focusing on hitting it and then breaking away. This will improve muscle memory and speed.

And Kade, I promptly practiced for hours and hours and hours and switched to pump and single-trigger 'Cockers, so all my work is wasted.

You don't need a pencil, rubber band, or any of that crap. Whenever you're sitting around or watching tv, take your gun and walk the trigger. Sooner or later you'll be able to do it at a reasonable pace without having to think about it. Besides, given that most leagues are using ramping these days, you only need to be able to pull 5bps. Focus on more important things like snapshooting, sliding, and overall form. These are far more valuable than pulling the trigger 2bps faster.

What a buddy mine said helped is he just sat in front of the TV and practiced with his marker. Practice walking the trigger and switching hands. After a while you dont even think about it as you build the muscle memory.
