Turf Field in Riverside
Hey,
There's an invite only turf field out in Riverside that would like to start getting more teams out in order to prep for XPSL SD and NPPL SD. If you're one of the teams that has been out there in the past, give the owner a call and tell them that you want to play this weekend.

I believe it is waynes field, and that it is "riverside county"
its seriously like 10 min from UCR....i'd consider it riverside enough

I get mixed signals about this place. Can someone give me a honest opinion about the conditions of this field, cost of play, etc.

yes it is a turf set up on soft packed dirt, with vortex bunkers. it is in blomington which is between the 10 and 60 freeways, cost is 15 per person with 4500 fills. usually about 4-6 teams on sunday. yes its private you need to call wayne first no walk ons.

Ive played at this field before. It has netting and a turf field over sand. As far as the bunkers go i think they are called vortex. Anyhow, they are pretty neat as paint does not break on them and bounces off lightly(don't worry about getting hit). The entry fee was around 15$ when i went but it might have changed. Compressor is also always ran at 4500 and when i went they had up to date layouts.
(Edit)-I'm pretty sure the field name was action star games.

The field owner would like to keep it invite only like Whittier. 7 man practices are ran on Sundays.
My understanding is that the owner would like to start getting more teams out at the field seeing as how the end of the year tournaments are coming up, and his team could use the practice.
Anyway, I'll heed bork's advice because he is a very wise man. Those who want to play at the field will need to find the info from someone else.
