We have 40's here in Va. No point in going to DC unless you want everclear. We also have cheap cigs, tobacco farms ftw!

Well, my friend, because there is a higher alcohol content per ounce in a 40 as opposed to a normal beer.

Sooooo, 40 ounces from a 40 = way more drunk than 40 ounces of normal beer

BTW, Ohio sells lots of 40s

40's are not any stronger. all states have a limit that no beer can pass. they sell 40's of bud which isnt malt. the point of the 40 is the amount for the price.

alabama donest have em, tennesse and GA does.

Not going there just for alcohol. Visiting some friends. I can get 191 proof everclear in GA, which will be the first stop I make.

For those that don't understand, to get to DC from FL I must pass through Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Virginia, and Maryland. Which of these states sell them?

Hothead, I'll check out VA, thanks.

Specops, 40's are outlawed in FL. Where is this said gas station?

No. 40s have a higher alcohol content/ounce than a normal beer does, say a bud or miller or coors, look at the labels next time...

No, it depends where you get the 40. Some stores can sell the higher proof with the right license and then some stores don't have that license.

A lot of people asked me to pick some up for them if I passed through somewhere that had them. Not really for me personally. If I'm going to drink a beer I prefer to spend a little more and get something nice and imported.

Looks like VA is the place to hit. What time do the start and stop selling there? Here in Florida, or atleast these cities around here they cut selling at 2 and start up again at 7.

And yea, different states have different laws on the legal points they can be.

beers are normally 12oz. There are a few reasons some states try to outlaw them. One being that people dont realize how much they drank. I remember one DUI case i was working on the guy was claiming there was no way he was over the limit since he only had 2 beers. Well, it wasnt 2 12oz beers, it was two 40oz's.

You wont go through MD....unless you are going to Southeast, which I highly advise you not go to.

Either way...almost ever convenience store in VA and DC will have them

Its not made up, thats how its sold down here. Your beer is in a 32oz can and your malt liquor is in a 40oz bottle. Brown bag is optional but recommended.
