Do you guys think that the paint companies make money at the NPPL and PSP events? Both series charge and arm and a leg to these companies for them to be there. They then supply paint mostly to their sponsored teams. Some for free others at a reduced rate. Attending the national events is a MAJOR expense for the distributors and manufacturers.

Frankly, adding a pump division would just mean less paint they would loose money on vs. another semi division (like the Masters division).

I got bored while watching a game in the bleachers, so i left to get a drink. When i came back, EVERYONE was in the same position. Not even an elimination! I was gone for a good 1-2 minutes, and NOTHING.

no kidding, I never understood why people say pump is slow paced. Perhaps it is different in 7 man but the 5 and 3 formats are very fast. The average is about 2min a game and if you've ever seen the BBR games its under a minute a game.

the thing is that kids now adays want the gear the pros use.. or at least what the "AGG" kids are using ... i mean c'mon when was the last time HK won anything but yet they profit because they have the cool kids wearing it.
pump is always going to be pump even tho pump is the greatest thing to ever exist in the sport...how is pump to keep up with "new" technology every year like semi EX: clothing, boards, hoppers etc..and i mean many new hoppers each year, new boards new technology!!!. (how ever pumps get sexier every year smis i think are getting uglier) we need some great thinkers here we need worlds fastest non electric pocket hopper, we need worlds smoothest pump stroke, we need fancy colors and upgrades and all the hype semi has.

now what we need is a pump team to PLACE in NPPL. once pump is in the winners circle then kids will want series 6's, snipers phantoms etc, instead of ions, or for the kids with rich mommys and daddys dm's/egos ... as their first marker of choice because the "winners use it" so i must have it mentality.

so lets get it together and PUMP IT UP!!!!!!!!! anyone down to play HB next year???

i gots a team name..but its hard core secret..:nododgy:

count us in Evilautorityx....!!! i strongly think we should separate our pump tourney to nppl.... we should stick with NSA and OSE league... this is my opinion.....

Also, I totally agreed with your opinion...

hopefully we should have our own magazine.... all pump only and to those organizer they should unite and make it as one whole... wat yah think

also I just got punk... coz I just started a new thread.... why not nppl 2.0...

hehehe peace out... let us unite my brothers......

The only fast paced things about the NPPL is the guns. Most teams dont move very much, if at all. If they do its only to one bunker and stay there.

But pump ftw.

and how fast they take your money.

we should email Planet Eclipse and tell em to make like 200 PL pump guns, that way NppL or psp would be interested in making a pump division lol.

LOL true that all of the teams from the NSA and OSC should try to get into next years NPPL HB. Imagine we could actually organize 5-10 teams in there. I know its costly and that it'll be difficult to place high, but at least we'll start getting more respect for pump.

That's exactly what I've been saying. The more pump teams enter, the more exposure pump play will get.
Who cares if noone places high enough to make it to Sunday, people will start noticing us. Honestly, odds are if you have 10-12 pump teams playing in all of the divisions one of those WILL make it to the Semis.

I think this is a great attitude to have. I could be wrong but if we were able to see this happen I feel it would strengthen the bonds between the teams that play. I also see us helping each other during the tournament with advice, tips, etc. In the end I think it would make the pump family stonger.

Funny thing would be to do this and up end in the same bracket

I think this a great idea, Great way to get things started is just start writing to companies on your goals and I'm willing to beat that companies would like to sponsor pioneer teams that are consisted of just pump players. The task is very long and drawn out and I think that everyone on the west could do this with ease. The east coast not so much. Not many pump players here but A pump only mag would be so sick.

You guys realizes the cost of attending a NPPL event, is about 200-300 per-person. And thats if it is local (no flying)
