Do police tend to profile teenagers into an unsafe group?

I was just wondering as I have been pulled over 7 times in the past week for stuff like going 5 over, tag lights out (even though I proved to him it wasnt), and inspection out of date (yet again wrong). Every time these police (other than the state trooper) treated me like I had cocaine in my pockets. I swear I have been patted down more than Bob Marley in an airport.

IF you don't lie on a polygraph test but answer that you have used marijuana previously, can you still pass the police in NY.. i know nypd doesnt have a polygraph

Me and three friends were sitting in a pick-up truck outside of a house that was under construction. We were waiting to go to this party and we were drinking beer (all under 21). Well the house was robbed earlier that week so the cops have been patrolling that neighborhood, and they rolled up on us. We were all very honest with what was going down and complied with everything they said. The driver of the truck doesn't drink so he was our DD. They ended up letting us go after we had to open up each can of beer and pour it in the grass.

I would like to know why they would do that? We were in a small suburb that is fairly quiet in relation to crime, so they don't experience this every night. I've made an attempt to contact the officers through the town but I didn't catch their names at all. It would be nice to say thanks.
