If you want to talk about dropping passes, look at lsu's receivers. I don't know how many lafell dropped against florida. If you want to talk about injuries...our o-line and our best receiver (and probably one of the best in the nation) early doucet is out, and has been out for 3 weeks i believe.

im using injuries as a REASON, not an excuse. we lost 2 tailbacks, Stafon Johnson and CJ Gable. 2 o'line men, a linebacker, and defensive back, all great players. that will hurt any team no matter who you are. i know lsu has injuries and im not arguing that usc is a better team than lsu is becasue i dont think that they are, it does seem tho that usc's injuries have had a bigger effect on sc than the injuries of lsu has had on them.
and about the sec/pac10 thing, the sec does have better teams, but that doesnt mean that the sec's best team is better than the pac10's best team (which this year i would say is true but in years past has not been) i was just trying to make the point that usc's schedule is not "easy". and high schools in the area doesnt mean ****. college teams RECRUIT players from all over the country, that means that a quarterback from Louisiana (sayyy uhm john david booty) might be recruited to a pac10 school (sayyy uhm usc..) so it doesnt matter if high schools live breath and eat football, becasue a high school from the east coast might send players to a west coast school, and vise versa.

Ya Everyone Who's Being Honest Would Have To Agree To This.
I'm A USC Fan All The Way
Have Been Since I Was A Kid
But It Was Definately Disapointing
LSU Definately Should Be #1 and USC Should Be #2
At Least For Now Anyways
I'd Love To See Those 2 In The Championship
That'd Be The Greatest Game Ever

definitely agreed.
and it would be a great game, but only if usc stepped up and played like they are expected too, with all the potential that they have, like they did against michigan in the rose bowl last year. if not, then i think a cal/ohio v. lsu game would be good too.

Woah woah, how should USC be #2 if they just lost to a unranked team like Stanford?I mean even if they lost to someone like Washington they would still not be #2 because they would be 4-1.Cal deserves #2 and hopefully they prove it against USC.

usc has only been a top10 team the last 4 years or so, since the carson palmer days. before everyone hopped on the usc bandwagon and the season tickets my family has had for 50+ years got moved to horrible seats because all these rich fanboys bought tickets.

Jus in my honest opinion, LSU has been pushin it harder.
The #1 n #2 teams are practically tied with eachother
jus someone needed to be 1 n someone 2
lsu n usc both kick ***
and why should Cal be #2?
Cal Is NOT Going To Beat USC
I'll Bet Someone 20 On That
If Your Near Long Beach,CA lol
Fer Real Too
Jus A Friendly Bet
Cal's good, But I Jus Gotta Root For Trojans

as far as other qb's go, pete carrol already said that if booty is able to play (he hurt his middle finger) then they will play him. i personally think they should put in mark sanchez. booty isnt player good, time for the backup to step up.
btw- just because your a usc fan or a cal fan or lsu fan, doesnt mean you have to say theyre the best team ever and argue against for that point all the time. being a true fan means your just a fan, and you want your team to win, but your still a fan whether theyre 12-0 or 0-12.
all the booing at the colloseum saturday showed me that the majority of the people in the stands are bandwagon fans. ive never seen usc booed so much in the probably 50+ games ive been to over the years.
a good example of a true fan is a mom. your mom (hopefully) comes to your games all the time, and roots for you whether you do good, or bad, no matter what. moms never boo their children when they play, theyre always supportive.

ya but doesnt that kind of jus show the reason for the upset in the first place?
all qb's have a bad game here n there.
n this was Booty's
I do agree with cycling through the QB's tho

Jus Go Ahead n See What The other Kids Can Do
I Never Get To Even See The USC Games Anymore

ya I think they should just let Booty play a little and take the time to heal.
and this would be a good time for them to see what Sanchez can do.

Just the problem is that All Usc fans expect that any QB that comes throught the system HAS TO BE A CARSON PALMER.U only value water when the well is dry.It is kinda sad.
And btw, Cal USC is gonna be the game of the year.I believe Cal is gonna beat Usc because the past 3 years they have been within 7-3 points of them sorry buddy, this year cus Usc really sucks, this is the year that Cal is gonna tear u guys a new *******.And may i remind u Cal was the only team that beat the true, good Usc in 03 (i think). So i would take ur bet buddy.

Rankings are based on facts. There are no facts here. Cal has no losses, USC lost to an unranked team. SO Cal deserves to be ranked higher.
