This season we have been practicing for 4 straight weeknds before events, or 3 weekends out of 4 in the pre season.
We have gone 8 weekends without a break before, and usually only get the weekend after an event to rest up, although due to other commitments that doesnt always happen.
Most of us also ran drills on wednesday nights during the summer.
This has been the hardest we have ever worked, and although we are tired and battle scarred, it really feels like it is paying off.
I'm not sure quite where the quote came from, but we really believe:
"The harder we train, the luckier we get"
