pmr board question

i have a pmr board in my angel and was wondering can i just solder a wire across the eye leads so that i don't have to turn the eyes off every time i turn it on to get to the correct board setting?

I don't think that will work due to the eye logic. It will perceive the eyes as being blocked and fault.

As long as the board defaults to eyes on you're pretty much stuck with having to turn them off if you don't have them installed. Like I said, jumpering them to a permanent on or off state will probably screw up the eye logic. Jumpering them to the microswitch would probably also cause issues because activating the switch is going to indicate "ball present" and may expire too soon for the board to register a good signal and allow a shot.
