Is it possible to un-mill something?
I have a general question about milling aluminum, if you mill a hole or slot in aluminum can it be repaired and made whole again? I'm not talking about taking an FSP milled Viking and turning it stock again, just an "oops, didn't want that there".
This might be the wrong place to ask but ya never know. Thanks!

depending on the size of the OOPS you can find a good aluminum welder who knows what they are doing, be sure to tell them that the marker will be anodized ( they have specific rod for it) then re mill it to smooth it out
will it be perfect, no but it will be usable
we fixed two vikings this way

yes but it lots of $$$ you have to take off the anno heat the body up ( to get color match so the weld spot will not show in anno) then weld w/ t6160 rod then re-mill w/ to new shape. takes a lot of time. and not to say it may warp the body because of the heat

Too much I've been looking for a long time, missed out on few on eBay and other places so over paid a little because I didn't know how rough it was, I swear the battery housing isn't annodized. Breaking it down, a Karta body/rail is about $400, Emag lowers $300, Xvalve w Lvl10 $175, I did ok for what I paid. It will look good once I'm done with it.
As far as the hole for the switch goes, I'm going to contact DC and see if they can do something but most likely it is going to get a switch installed.
Thanks everybody !

I know it's not permanent, but you could make a plastic piece that clips into the hole. And yes, you could get that welded up, it's not that big. But like the man said, getting it so it doesn't show after anno will take some serious time.

I've looked a little, but I already have one and don't want to spent any more money. The switch would be nice, I've already had two Emags and the one complaint I've had is the stupid yellow pin.
