Slow recharge- SCM III

Here's my setup-

04 vike/ SCM III/ Sidewinder/ Guerrilla Air HP

SCMIII set at 75 psi with gauge.

Here's the deal, with test gauge in marker, single shots quickly recharge back to 68 -70 psi and then creep up to 75 psi where its supposed to be. Rapid fire, the gauge is reading somewhere in the low to mid 60's, stop shooting and it recharges as per first sentence. gun is clean and lubed before and after shooting.

when shooting 5-6 consecutive shots there is minor shoot down.

any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Open up the SCM and remove the largest "O" ring. Replace the "O" ring with a slightly larger one. You can use one from your tank (tank "O"). Before placing the "O" ring in the SCM either put Dow 33 grease or thermal grease on it for lubrication. Put the SCM back together and place your air guage in the marker. Vary your pressure and shoot the marker. Find the optimal setting for the pressure which limits the creep.
