Any how....im considering trading my viking for a very nice excal. Now i know excals have two noids, and are closed bolt, but not much else. Is there anything else besides that, that would make one superior to the other?
No, not really. The excal is a little less effeciant.

I prefer vikings, but that's me.

For me it depends on what I'm doing, I tend to be much less aggressive when shooting the smooth shooting excal, keeps me calm and slow, great for playing back. When I'm wailing away on my viking. . . something about it brings out the beast. Makes me want to shoot everyone, and shoot them RIGHT NOW!!! I prefer the viking

My 04 Featherlite excal feels lighter than my 04 JMJ Factory viking...excal has a little bit more milling thanks to DC. As to shooting both I cannot pick one over the other especially since they both have robtown.
