You caught me! It was either go into Evangelical South Carolina, where evolution is heresy and your gun is the only thing that stands between you and the hordes of crackheads, or go up to UVM, where there is little to no violence, racial equality, and great outdoors, the liberal mindset being a bonus too.

Guess I'm just too close minded for the South.

The drug scene is supposed to be rather hardcore there, and I will have to learn how to snowboard, although it's w/evs.
What other school have you looked at in the northeast?

Snowboarding/skiing would be the best part of going to school in VT, IMO.

I'm trying to go up to Burlington to either UVM or Champlain next year. I love it up there.

I saw Champlain, they seem to have an interesting take on curriculum and they also have an interesting approach toward business degrees.

Nice campus too, kinda super-ghetto dorms though.

My dorm was effing sweet and my coach house is even better. My room is probably bigger than your entire dorm room.

I visited UCSB and really enjoyed it, my two brothers go there, and I think I'd like to go there. Anyone been to the campus before/attend the university?

lol, my sister, being in the music program, whose dorms are being renovated, had to spend a year in basically a 10x10 room, all cinder block walls.

Nah...they are white. We are allowed to paint them as long as we paint them back white at the end of the year, but I'm too lazy.

That's pretty crummy man, but I guess a room's a room. I'm actually really excited about living with completely random people, as long as I don't get stuck with a drunk or a really rude person, although that still probably wouldn't bother me, as you always have to deal with those types of people.

Yeah, I mean I guess it's cool. My roommate is pretty chill, but we are like completely different people, which sucks. We have like nothing in common. And some of his habits bug me sometimes.(he is a slob, chews loud, has odd sleeping habits) I can't wait to move out of the dorm next year and get my own place hopefully.

I got stuck with someone from my high school randomly. I ended up walking in on him and another man, quite awkward.

What we really need to think about is what George Washington would say about this?
