Legacy NXL Chip

I have looked around pbn about a manual or guide for this chip and i have come up with minimal information.

I have a nxl legacy chip in a angel lucky un1 board. Here is the information that i have so far. Dip Switch #4 turns the programming on and off. The green mode is a faster auto after 3 pulls than the red mode.

Here is what i need to know:
What the position of each dip switch does/means
What each of the three color modes means (Red, Green, Blue)
Does the chip have any eye logic? If so, what?

I appreciate any information that you can give me.

Thanks,
Eric

There was no legacy chip created as far as i know. I believe this question has been asked before and it has been said by the team to not exist. How do you know this is a "legacy" chip. They were sponsored by virtue for a while so you may want to check their websites to see if the manuals match up with the chip.

I bought this chip with an un1 board and hater chip a while back

http://www.pbnation.com/showthread.p...xl+legacy+chip

I have the hater chip in my adrenalin lcd and this chip in my a4.

I searched for "nxl legacy chip" and found a little bit of info in this forum. Thats how i learned about the 4th dip switch but other than that nothing. I will try virtue.

Any other info is welcome

They were also sponsored by Lucky last season soo they may have gotten them then.

The lucky/Legacy NXL chips may run off the ACE codebase.

Try this manual: http://www.pbheadbands.com/manuals/luckypb-ace-chip.pdf

I am pretty sure that it is not a lucky chip, those use more than 3 leds on the board. I purchased everything in the link of my 2nd post in the summer of 2006. I contacted virtue and they said it was probably a early dye chip. It sort of makes sense because of the legacy dm4s they made.

try that.

it says legacy products(discontinued) near the bottom if you scroll down a tiny bit.

hope that helps.

I actually talked to the owner that i bought the chip from and I found out that it is a wacky nxl coded chip that he said he was told from the original owner that legacy used it. So it is very likely that it wasn't used by legacy. I been figit-ing with it and it seems a lot like a dm4 style chip, using the dips for eye logic and so forth.

Thank you for all your help!

Cheers,
Eric
