Question New to digital photography.

so far my collection of cameras includes a minolta stsi, a Canon T50 and a promaster 2500PK. Those are all film. Recently i got a Canon digital rebel xt from a friend for a good price. it has a 35-80 zoom lense. I didnt get a manual or anything with it but can you guys help me out on how to use it. Thanks

To get the FPS to increase to 9, rip out the mirror.

That's a common mod. It also increases saturation of photos.

To make the image appear larger in the viewfinder, crack the first layer of glass. Be sure not to damage the 2nd layer. The larger viewfinder image makes it much easier to take better photos.

And to the mirror mod.

I'm not saying that stupidity should be punishable by death. But I do think we should remove all the warning labels and let the problem take care of itself.
