Top 10 Teams of the Midwest

all right, who are the top teams(7,10 or nxl) representing the midwest right now. List in order from 1 being the best and 10 being the worst. Here's some teams to help you out. shock, shocktech(maxim), Thunderstruck, BE and VL all-stars, Vicious, FarSide, BAM, AGD(lions, pride, kids), Tippman Effect, Psycho Circus. That's all I can think of right now

there players might not be from the Midwest but they're based out of the midwest so I guess its a judgement call

Buddy, probably need a new thread for that topic. If you make one, I'll donate my opinion.

Everyone else, isn't Evil Factory made up of the old Farside guys? If not, I want to change my #9 upward. I thought they lost alot of guys.

Now you just need to decide what the midwest actually consists of. Do you put teams on there who have players from the midwest or who are based out of the midwest?

I honestly never considered Smoke to be from the midwest for some reason (and I guess this goes for tippmann as well). I always thought of Ohio as being closer to the east coast than to the midwest.

Also, what style are you basing your decisions on... are you talking 10man? 7man? Xball?

I'd probably pick 7man since its in between 5 and 10man.

Booya Im confused. 3/4s of Ohio is west of where I'm at in southeast michigan. Plus, tippmans home field might be TIP, but most of their players come from Futureball. Oh well! I guess I'll go back to hiding in my corner.

I was using the definition of the MidWest based o this forum. It list all the state included. OH is one of them, so that is why I included Brimstone Smoke.

As for Evil Factory, it is my understanding many of the players came from Farside to Evil Factory. Then the Farside Kids pretty much became Farside.

Apparently I wasn't paying enough attention in geography class.

...at least 4 fo the Evil Factory guys are from IL and TN. Many of their players did come from Farside but Farside didn't all live around Chicago, they had a few who had a nice long drive to practice.
