Wink HOW TO: dm6 trigger into pmr ul frame

Allright so I was able to get a dm6 cp sling trigger into my PMR with UL frame. When I was trying to learn this mod the only thread I could find was a green pic of the trigger already in the gun so here is my attempt at a how to.

First off the only tool I had was a 6” triangle file. I don’t recommend doing this mod with only a file. It took me about 3 hours of straight filing but I got it done.

This is the trigger before I started the green section is what had to be filed off.

heres a couple compairison pics before I started the in the second pic the trigger are lined up at bearing and point they hit the micro switch you can see how much has to be filed to make the sling match the stock

here are some comparing pics of the trigger after the filing

close up pics of the trigger after filing

so hopefully the pics are some help but here’s what I did in words. I started by filing threw the top beam of the trigger at its thinnest point this way I was able to file with two sides of the file at once until the hole was bigger than the file then I filed around the bearing until there was just a thin layer all the way around the bearing leaving as little as possible. After I got the bearing side good I started working on the front of the trigger make sure to completely remove the remains of the cross bar file it until the vertical bar if smooth and maybe even further. The trigger should now fit into the frame however mine wouldn’t move yet I had to file the top of the vertical part where the set screw goes. I filed it down as far as possible without cutting the threads off completely I can still thread in the set screw if I wanted however I left it out because the trigger pull is really short all ready. I might even do some more filing past the point of the screw hole to make the pull longer

does the fact that you removed the top "bridge" affect the stability of the trigger ?

nice job

Nice tutorial. Get some better pics and you've got a nice little sticky thread.

yeah but it says that it doesn't work for the pmr so do you think it could be modified to work?

very nice, i hope you tapped out the roller bearings before sanding/cutting. If metal dust or shavings land on the bearing say goodbye to smoothness.

no, it would not work at all, if you cut into that critical trigger, you will lose the ability to adjust the activation point.

critical do make a trigger for the ul pmr frame it was kind a tricky putting it in and you have to super glue the magnet in the frame.
