When I was chrono'ing my gun today (the 2k, not the Shocktech the Shocktech doesn't have problems) I would get like a 268 270 and then like a 309 then maybe a 219 or something. I am using a Crossfire nitro tank which has worked OK, its not the best but its hardly the cause of the problem. My paint was OK, it also wasn't the best but it was fairly consistantly sized and fit the barrel right, and it was flying pretty straight so I don't think that was the problem. I'm going to run some oil through the reg, this should fix it, shouldn't it?

it could fix the problem, another thing is, if you have the reg set too low it gets kinda nutty, i have that problem with mine, it just fluxuates too much, the stock reg is a great reg for the pressure that bud orr built it for.

but messing with it leads to problems, try backing your velocity screw out and turning up the pressure, AND running oil through it, that will help

I haven't touched the input pressure, and the velocity screw is almost all the way out. Should I just oil it up?

i usually drop 7-8 drops of oil through my air line before each day of play.

cockers require lube to be happy, and regs do as well

I oiled it after I last played, maybe I just need a little more. I always oil my gun.
