So then my 80-200mm for my 35mm is equivalent to a -20-100mm on a DSLR...... that sucks.

Ok so I took pictures at the Concrete Rodeo last Saturday. It was my first real time doing any skateboard photography so I am somewhat satisfied with my results. But I know they are still mediocre at best. Just a few things I think are wrong with all of them as a group: Busy backgrounds with all the people there watching, weak angles because space was limited, some butt shots, some OOF pictures and not the best lighting. I would really appreciate some C&C on a few of my favorites. Compared to the other pictures I have seen from the event, mine seem to be better, so if anything they will at least satisfy the kids in them and their parents.

Thanks

4 oof but timing/angle wise?

7 cool kids

Eh thanks
and no matter what you guys think of them, that doesn't change the fact that child molesters like my pictures. No joke some guy came up to me at the end of the event, scratched my upper back, then ran his fingers down my back and said "I love you, how much do I owe you for those pics"
me "uhh they are free"

Have you seen Jackass 2? The one guy launches himself into the water in a wheelchair, it's nuts.

I went to go and try and get a couple shots of the moon before the events of the night, but it was behind some light cloud cover.

It is underexposed by about a stop and you have some nasty jpg artifacts around the edge of the moon.

You should also open up curves in photoshop and set the background to black
