One Tough Feedneck to Remove - Any Ideas?

I have an autococker body that has its feedneck (autococker threaded) stuck on it. The feedneck was alway somewhat loose, so I put an o-ring in it and screw the feedneck in. After a day of paintball, the feedneck has been stuck and I can't take it out. What do you recommend I should do? I have tried taking to a paintball shop where they torched it and try to take it out using a vice and gloves, but they could not do much. I am just wondering what else I can do to take it out.

I was thinking about maybe dissolving the O-ring using some sort of compound.

Thanks in advance.

if you dont want the feed neck drill a hole threw it to fit a screw driver/bar threw but dont make the hole to big as the feedneck could snap in two

or you could take a pair of vice grips and put them on (if you dont want the feedneck yet agian)

other then that if you have a small shop press you could pry put a piece of leather under the feedneck and ontop of the feedneck press it down so its tight but not enough to crush the feedneck and then turn the body (you can do the same thing with a vice as well)

I want to keep the feedneck. It's a really nice clamping feedneck. So hammer, eh? How would I set it up so I can hammer it w/o damaging the feedneck nor the body.

Try wrapping the Cocker in a towel, stick it in a vice(gently), use a starp wrench to get it off. I have the same issue with my Prostock.

You could put the gun in a vice and try using a heavy duty strap wrench.

strip it to everything but the body and feedkneck, boil the parts. use gloves and vice/strap wrench it while it is hot.

you shouldnt of used an o-ring, loctite, or even teflon/pipe tape would of helped it from being loose, an o-ring is just too big to fit between threads.

Heat it up with a propane torch, then try twisting it off. If it has loctite on it, this will take care of it, it will also soften that oring up.

I've never had one I couldn't get apart in this way:
Protect the body, and put in the vise.
Take the locking ring off the feedneck.
Take an old gravity feed hopper, and stick in the neck.
Use a good strap wrench (the black cast iron "Rigid" brand is nice) and get a good grip on the neck.
Get some help, and have one guy twist the hopper, while the other guy turns the strap wrench, and it should come out.

Minerals spirits from home depot, work really well in breaking down orings, and other rubber parts, but i dont know what it would do to the anno.

I'd say get the marker's body in a vice (obv. cover the vice with cloth) and use a rubber strap wrench.

Should work well.
