Messing around with a Shocker
So I have this Shocker lying around which I probably wouldn't be able to get more than $250 or so for, so I decided to keep it as a backup and do a little custom engraving on it. I finally decided that I want to go with a sort of carbon fiber look, so I gave it CF-like grips, and then got to work on the engraving.
I am doing all of the engraving by hand with an X-acto blade, so I expect it to not be of the highest quality when I am done with it (my art skills are lackluster), but it will sure as hell look cool. I'm only engraving accents on the gun, but I look forward to the finished product.
tl;dr
Taking an X-acto blade to a Shocker to make a carbon fiber look.

thats actually really cool lol.
though you could've just gotten carbon fiber printed vinyl and did that...

Except I wanted it engraved, not printed. I have 15 sq. feet of carbon fiber vinyl, that would be too easy. |

i honestly didnt think it would look good but i was wrong, this actually looks pretty darn good being hand done and all. looks great, i hope the second side doesnt take as long as the first. good luck!

Thanks guys. I actually think it does look good... from a distance. Close up it doesn't look too good though because of some small imperfections. I'll put some more pics up later when I do more work.
