Battlecreek Paintball - Fulton, MO! Air / Speedball Field NOW OPEN! Practice 8/19!

JUST an FYI for all those in Central Missouri, Battlecreek Paintball (host of the Show Me State Games) now has it's speedball/air field up and in operation. Sunday's our team will be practicing prior to the field opening at noon (usually 8 til noon). If there are local teams which would like to participate in scrimmages we would welcome them and anyone is invited to come play the air field during open play from 9 - 5 Saturdays and Noon - 5 Sunday's!. Battlecreek is located just off I-70 at the 144 exit (one exit west of the I-70/Hwy 54 intersection at Kingdom City). Go south off the exit and about 1.5 miles south of I-70 is Battlecreek paintball / Crookedcreek campground. The paintball office is up near the campground office.

are you guys there every sunday? was kinda lookin for somewhere to play this sunday. is it BYOP? or is there anyway i could pay more and bring my own, or something? also i don't have any teammates from this area, can i still play from 8-12 or do i have to have a team.

Some, if not all of us, are there on Sunday mornings...and right now it is NOT BYOP...it is field paint only and a $10 field fee... However, you are welcome to come join in on Sunday mornings at this time due to the fact that we don't usually have two full teams (5 man teams anyway) so as many people that want to come participate are welcome. We are trying to build the 'speedball' business at Battlecreek. Actually, the speedball field will be open all day Sunday's if there is enough participation! So as many individuals/teams who want to come play on the air field - feel free to do so.

how much is paint? is there any way i could trade paint or something? i get a few cases a week so i don't really wanna buy paint.

You might have to talk to the manager. I don't know that anyone has talked to him about paying an extra fee to use their own paint...but it might be worth talking to him about...his name is Perry.

Otherwise the paint is $55/case if your a non-member or $45 if you are a field member ($60/year annual fee)..and $10/day field fee if your not a member...but members have no field fee...

This sunday the 16th is a the Openning tournament at Battlecreek...3 man...check out www.battlecreekpaintball.com for details...it will likely be openned up to any level team to increase participation...if enough teams show up for beginner/rookie and an 'open' style format they may split the tournament into two different level tourneys..

I'm not sure of the total number of 'pre-registered teams' but I know of 3 definites from around this area....and have heard of possibly a couple from the lake & springfield areas...and maybe one or two from KC...and I thought one for sure from STL...but I guess if we rely on pre-registrations...there are only a few right now....but that usually picks up the last couple days before the tournament weekend!...OH, and the field will be open for open play after the tournament...so it can be a full day of speedball if anyone is intersted...and some damn good practice for a team too....
