I want to buy a pistol

I've been looking at various pistols to buy. So far the Overlord intrested me the most because I don't need to use tools to take out the co2 canisters like in the Tibierus pistol I have used in the past. I want to have a good durable pistol at a nice price. So far the Overlord is looking like the best choice. Any other ideas on what I can look into would be helpful.

IF you want the "best" pistol i'd go with a squall, but those are a bit pricey. overlords are nice, esp the RX(newer overlord).

I would have to disagree with xranger. I have had my Overlord for almost two years now and I love it. It seems kind of strange that someone who owned one doesn't even know what it's called. That doesn't exactly produce any credibility to the statement being made.

I bought one for something to mess around with and carry with me just for the heck of it. I still carry a primary marker

Once i tried to use my ACP 2.0 as my sole marker in a game of speedball. Lol, that was fun for about 10 seconds.

I've played woodsball with it as well as just a primary. Usually at my field we'll have games with an objective. Since i carry just the pistol, a pod of paint and a few mags, i can move light and pick up the flag or "bomb" the fort and stuff like that that would be harder with a full sized marker with tank and hopper.

I enjoy it.

Please ranger just because you never read up that overlords needed brass eagle c02 doesn't mean you have to go to every overlord and acp2.0 thread and tell people that they're crap.

So they do only use Brass Eagle? I just purchased one and it is still in the mail, but I have heard people say that they have used Crossman with it.

Crossman works perfectly until it's time to eject it. Brass Eagle uses a kind of 'lipless' cartridge. Crossman cartridges mess with the auto eject system and freeze to the valve. You need to open the small bolt under the gas chamber and eject them manually. They work sometimes, but not often enough to be worth it. If you use Brass Eagle, the recommended cartridge, you'll almost never have a problem with it. I haven't, and I've had my Overlord (original) for a few years now.

As for it being 'junk' it's got the range and accuracy of my upped 98, which is pretty darn good. Cranked up to 285 FPS you get two solid magazines out it (20 shots of steady pressure). The simple system never breaks and is easy to field strip and clean. The new features on the RX actually help streamline the reloading process for paint and air. All in all I'd definitely recommend this pistol for its bang for your buck. It's been the best 100 I've spent.

okay here is the deal the overlord is a great pistol i have had one for about 2 years 1.5 years it was missing(hiding under a 50 gallon oil drum at the feild i play at) i was surprised when the feild found it i thought it was stolen...but the thing is all i had to do was clean all of the internals and the gun works fine thats after 1.5 years in the elements rain, hot, cold, and swampy conditions i love it yeah you should only use brass eagle co2 but dont think of it as a disadvantage its accurate and has great range it also has a self lubricating delerin bolt only problem its a little heavy and spare mags are expencive but its still a great gun hope this helps with your decision
